Terms of service

Last updated 8 October 2026 · Effective immediately

01

Agreement to these terms

These Terms of Service govern your use of SawalJawaab, an online exam-preparation service operated from Lahore, Pakistan. By creating an account, taking a test, or paying for a subscription, you agree to be bound by these terms.

If you are under 18, you confirm that a parent or legal guardian has read these terms and consents to your use of the service. We may ask for that confirmation before processing a payment.

02

What the service provides

SawalJawaab provides practice questions, timed mock examinations, worked explanations, progress analytics and a merit estimation tool for university entry tests taken in Pakistan and selected international examinations.

The service is an independent study aid. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of PMDC, PMC, NUST, UET, NUMS, AKU, FAST-NU, GIKI, IBA, FPSC, the British Council, IDP, Cambridge Assessment, or any examination board, university or admitting authority.

03

No guarantee of results

We make no promise, express or implied, that using SawalJawaab will result in a particular score, a place on any merit list, or admission to any institution. Examination outcomes depend on many factors outside our control.

Syllabus content, merit formulas, closing percentages and admission deadlines shown on the service are indicative and compiled in good faith from publicly available notifications. They may change without notice. You must verify all such information against the relevant institution's official prospectus or notification before relying on it.

04

Your account

You must provide accurate registration information and keep your login credentials confidential. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

One account is for one person. Accounts may not be shared, resold, or used by a class or group.
You must notify us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission.
We may suspend an account we reasonably believe is being shared, automated, or used to extract content in bulk.
05

Subscriptions, payment and renewal

Paid plans are offered on a daily, monthly or institutional basis at the prices published on our pricing page. Prices are stated in Pakistani Rupees and include any applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.

Payments are processed by third-party providers including mobile wallet and card networks. We do not store your full card or wallet credentials. Where a plan renews automatically, the renewal terms are shown before you confirm payment, and you may cancel renewal at any time from your account.

06

Free trial and cancellation

Premium access is free for the first three days of a new account. No payment is taken to start the trial, and it ends on its own unless you choose a plan.

Paid access can be cancelled at any time. Cancellation stops future billing; access continues until the end of the period you have already paid for. Payments already made are not returned, and we do not pro-rate partial periods except where required by law.

07

Acceptable use

The service and its content are provided for your personal study. You agree not to:

Copy, record, scrape, republish or redistribute questions, explanations or analytics, in whole or in part.
Use the service to build, train or populate any competing product, question bank or dataset.
Circumvent access controls, rate limits, or any technical measure protecting the service.
Upload unlawful, abusive or infringing material through any form, report or message feature.
Impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation with any institution.
08

Intellectual property

All questions, explanations, analytics, text, design, and software forming the service are owned by SawalJawaab or its licensors and are protected by copyright and other laws. Your subscription grants a limited, personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to access and use them for your own preparation, and nothing more.

Names of examinations, universities and institutions are used descriptively to identify the tests we prepare students for. Those names remain the property of their respective owners.

09

Notes you write

Notes, photos and flashcards you create in your Notebook are yours. You give SawalJawaab a free, permanent, worldwide permission to keep them, including after you delete them or your account, and to edit and share them with other students, without your name unless you agree to be credited. Do not upload anything you do not have the right to share, or anything with other people's private details.

10

Content accuracy and reporting

We review every question against the published syllabus and have it checked by a second subject specialist before publication. Despite this, errors can occur. If you believe a question or explanation is incorrect, please report it from within the service or by email; reported items are re-reviewed and corrected where necessary.

We do not accept liability for marks lost as a result of an error in our content beyond the remedies described in these terms.

11

Availability and changes

We aim to keep the service available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Maintenance, network faults, or events outside our control may cause downtime.

We may add, change or remove features, and may revise these terms. Where a change materially affects your rights, we will give reasonable notice by email or in the service. Continuing to use SawalJawaab after a change takes effect means you accept the revised terms.

12

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Pakistani law, SawalJawaab is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, including loss of opportunity, admission, or anticipated results, arising from your use of or inability to use the service.

Where liability cannot be excluded, our total aggregate liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud or for any other liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

13

Termination

You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access where you materially breach these terms, where required by law, or where continued provision is not commercially viable, giving notice where we reasonably can.

14

Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. The courts at Lahore have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.

Before starting proceedings, we ask that you contact us at help@sawaljawaab.com so we can try to resolve the matter directly. Most issues are settled this way.
